Libertia ixioides, commonly known as Mikoikoi, is a striking New Zealand native perennial with stiff, sword-like leaves in shades of green, bronze, or gold. It forms tidy clumps up to 60 cm tall and wide, and produces delicate white flowers in spring, followed by bright orange seed capsules. Mikoikoi thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Ideal for borders, rock gardens, and native plantings, it adds texture and year-round colour to any landscape.
