Metrosideros Fiji Fire, commonly known as Southern Rata or NZ Christmas Tree, grows as a large shrub and is renowned for its eye-catching foliage. It carries dark green foliage with new growth being bright orange-red. Masses of small, red flowers are produced through summer as it grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide.
