Metrosideros Mistral is a variety of Pohutukawa grown for its masses of crimson red flowers in summer. The showy flowers are complemented with dark green foliage as it grows to 4 m tall and the same wide, and can be contained with trimming. Metrosideros Mistral is an excellent choice for coastal gardens, adding to mixed plantings, trimming into a hedge, using as a backdrop for smaller plants, for screening, for shelter, or growing as a specimen.
