Metrosideros 'Maori Princess' is a stunning cultivar of the NZ Christmas tree (Pohutukawa) and is renowned for its brilliant crimson-red flowers and glossy green leaves. Pieris Christmas Cheer (Pieris japonica Christmas Cheer)
Pieris Christmas Cheer is an attractive shrub grown for both its foliage and flowers. This compact and rounded shrub produces red-pink flower buds that open to reveal pale-pink flowers. They mature to white, are mildly fragrant, and are produced from winter through into spring. The flowers are complemented with glossy green leaves which provides a lovely backdrop as it grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide. Pieris japonica Christmas Cheer makes for a superb specimen in a small garden or courtyard and is well suited to being maintained in a container, adding to mixed and border plantings, including in formal and cottage gardens, or for planting around outdoor living areas.
