The flowers are complemented by small, glossy, dark green leaves as it grows to 75 cm tall and 1 m wide. Ceanothus 'Blue Carpet' is an excellent plant for including in borders and mixed plantings, using in cottage gardens, or planting as a groundcover. It is quite picturesque when allowed to spill out over a path of wall.
