The variety of Lemon ‘Lemonade’ is used to make the ever-popular lemonade drink. The fruit produced during winter and early spring are pale yellow, relatively easy to peel, and strongly scented with a mild, refreshing flavour. This heavy cropping, evergreen shrub typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. The Lemon ‘Lemonade’ is commonly included in a mixed planting or maintained either in a container or in a courtyard garden.

Applying the correct citrus fertiliser is essential for achieving better quality fruit, higher yields, and a much healthier and brighter looking tree. Correct nutrition for the tree is important while it is establishing and also from flowering until the green fruit become visible. The Plant Company Citrus Fertiliser has been specifically blended to give 12-months of continuous nutrition and give the tree an initial boost with all right nutrients. This citrus fertiliser blend is suitable for all types of Citrus including lemons, oranges, grapefruit, limes, kumquats, mandarins, and tangelos. One kg of fertiliser will adequately fertilise 12 trees for one year. The NPK rating is 12.4:5.2:15 and has a sulphur level of 5.1.
