Lemon Ponderosa is a variety of lemon that produces jumbo sized fruit (over half a kg in weight) from late spring through summer. The fruit are bright yellow, relatively easy to peel, and have a lovely lemon flavour. This heavy cropping shrub typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide, but can be trimmed as necessary. Lemon Ponderosa is a heritage variety that is commonly included in mixed plantings, maintained in a container, added to a courtyard garden, or grown as a specimen.
