Sansevieria trifasciata, commonly known as the Variegated Snake Plant or Mother in Laws Tongue, this is a very popular indoor plant. It features upright and fleshy leaves that are green-grey with yellow edges. The spear shaped leaves arise from the base of this clump growing plant. It grows slowly to eventually reach 1 m tall and 50 cm wide but often grows to about 45 cm tall and 20 cm wide in a container.
