Hydrangea Diamond Rouge is a beautiful variety that features large and showy, cone-shaped flower heads that begin as white and age to dark pink and then red. These are borne from summer through autumn and are complemented with dark green foliage. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Hydrangea Diamond Rouge is a great variety for adding to a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, including in a cottage garden, or for planting around an outdoor living area.
