Hoya compacta, commonly known as the Hindu Rope plant, is commonly grown as an indoor plant. It produces fleshy, leaves with distinct curves that are held densely on trailing stems. During summer the plants will often produce showy clusters of waxy, pink flowers with a red centre. It typically grows to 15 cm tall and will trail to 50 cm or more.
