Osmanthus heterophyllus Variegatus (Osmanthus Variegatus)
Osmanthus heterophyllus Variegatus is an evergreen shrub that produces spiny leaves which are variegated dark green with a cream edge. The foliage is complemented with clusters of small and highly-scented, white flowers in spring as it grows to 1.5 m tall and 2 m wide. Osmanthus heterophyllus variegatus is often used to brighten up a shady corner or used to contrast with darker coloured plants. It makes for a colourful hedge and is well-suited to being maintained in container, planted around outdoor living areas, or added to a mixed planting.

Dianella Wyeena is renowned for its variegated foliage which are dark green with a cream-coloured margin. This NZ Flax Lily grows as a tidy clump to about 80 cm tall and the same wide in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. Dianella Wyeena is commonly mass planted in borders or as a groundcover, included in a mixed planting, or planted around outdoor living areas.
