Hebe Red Edge is a NZ native that features masses of small but pretty, lilac-coloured flowers which gradually fade to white. These are produced through summer and autumn amidst the small and thick, grey-green leaves that emerge purple and have a red margin. This evergreen shrub grows densely with a rounded shape to about 60 cm tall and the same wide. Hebe Red Edge is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, grown in a container, planted around outdoor living areas, or mass planted on a bank or the like for a very effective display.

Hemerocallis Red Wonder is a variety of the commonly known, Day Lily, and features very showy flowers. The showy, red flowers are only at peak condition for a day, but are continually produced through summer. They are held above the strap-like, green leaves which serve as a lovely backdrop to the flowers as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Hemerocallis Red Wonder is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, planted around the base of larger trees, included in borders, or added to a mixed planting.
