Hebe stricta (Koromiko)
Hebe stricta, commonly known as Koromiko or Veronica stricta, is a quick growing, NZ native shrub. Long spikes carrying small, white flowers with a touch of mauve are borne in summer and literally coat the plant. The flowers are complemented with long and lush, dark green leaves as it grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Hebe stricta is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown as an informal hedge, planted around water features such as ponds and streams, or included in revegetation plantings.

Hebe buxifolia is a NZ native shrub with glossy leaves that are green with yellow edges. These are adorned by masses of fragrant and showy, white flowers from spring through autumn as it grows to 1 m tall and 1.2 m wide.
