This NZ native grows as a bushy, evergreen shrub to about 40 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. Hebe Margret is commonly included in a mixed or border planting, maintained in a container, included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools, or mass planted either on a bank or as a ground cover plant for an effective display.
