Hebe sutherlandii Gold is a NZ native Hebe that grows as a compact and tidy evergreen shrub to about 50 cm tall and 80 cm wide. It features green-gold leaves which are held tightly on short, slender stems and becomes adorned with white flowers though summer. Hebe sutherlandii Gold is a great plant for border planting, adding to mixed plantings, planting around the base of a tree, including in a rock garden, or mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank which will afford an impressive display.
Hebe Marie Antoinette features showy flower clusters from summer through autumn that are pink-purple and fade to white with age. These are held above the lush and glossy, dark green leaves that emerge from dark pink buds. It grows as a bushy, evergreen shrub to about 75 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun. Hebe Marie Antoinette is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, grown in a container, planted around outdoor living areas, or mass planted on a bank or the like for a very effective display.
