Hebe Emerald Gem is a NZ native that is grown for its fine foliage and delicate flowers. It grows as a compact, rounded shrub carrying mid-green foliage held densely on short stems. The foliage is adorned with masses of small, white flowers through summer and autumn as it grows to 40 cm tall and 60 cm wide. Hebe Emerald Gem is commonly included in a mixed or border planting, used in alpine gardens, or maintained in a container.
