Selliera radicans, commonly known as Remuremu, is a NZ native, herbaceous perennial that forms a tight mat of bright green leaves. The glossy and fleshy leaves are up to 4 cm long and become adorned with small, white flowers in summer as it grows to 15 cm tall and 75 cm wide. Selliera radicans is commonly included in borders, used in cottage gardens, planted around the margins of water features, maintained in a container, or planted beside a wall where it can cascade over the edge.

Ajuga reptans variegata, commonly known as Bugleweed, Common Bugle, or Carpet Bugle, is a quick growing, ground covering plant that features colourful leaves that are variegated green and cream.
