Liriope 'Royal Purple', commonly known as Monkey Grass, produces strap-like, dark green leaves that become adorned with masses of showy, deep violet-purple flowers. This herbaceous perennial grows as a tidy clump, reaching approximately 40 cm in height and 45 cm in width. Liriope 'Royal Purple' is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, adding to a mixed planting, or for use in borders or around outdoor living areas.

Liriope spicata (Creeping Lilyturf)

Liriope spicata, commonly known as Creeping Lily Turf, grows as a clump and produces arching, strap-like, dark green leaves. Short stems carrying masses of tiny, pale lavender-white flowers emerge amidst the foliage during summer. It typically grows to 45 cm tall and the same wide, but will spread to colonise a much larger area over time. Liriope spicata is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, border plantings, or as a groundcover.
