Liriope muscari, commonly known as Lilyturf Muscari or Monkeygrass, is an herbaceous perennial with flower spikes that rise above the foliage during summer and autumn bearing masses of lavender-blue flowers. flowers are long lasting and blend wonderfully with the strap like, dark green foliage. Liriope muscari is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, adding to a mixed planting, including in borders, or for planting around outdoor living areas. It is used extensively in landscaping because of the hardiness, versatility, and great appearance year-round.

Liriope spicata (Creeping Lilyturf)

Liriope spicata, commonly known as Creeping Lily Turf, grows as a clump and produces arching, strap like, dark green leaves. Short stems carrying masses of tiny, pale lavender-white flowers emerge amidst the foliage during summer. It typically grows to 45 cm tall and the same wide but will spread to colonise a much larger area over time. Liriope spicata is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, border plantings, or using as a groundcover.
