Citrus medica sarcodactylis, commonly known as the Buddha's Hand tree, is a variety of citrus grown for its very unusual fruit, which ripens in winter. The bright yellow fruit is shaped like a hand and comprises solely of rind. They have no flesh or seeds but do have a lemon aroma. It grows densely with glossy, dark green leaves to about 3 m tall and the same width and can be trimmed as necessary.
