Brunfelsia Fragrant Summer (Plant Called Yesterday Today and Tomorrow)
Brunfelsia Fragrant Summer, known as the plant Called Yesterday Today and Tomorrow, is a compact and colourful evergreen shrub renowned its attractive and changing flowers. It grows as a rounded cushion of purple-green leaves to about 1 m tall and the same wide. Through spring and summer masses of sweetly fragrant, pansy like flowers open purple-blue then fade to white. Brunfelsia Fragrant Summer is commonly grown as an informal hedge, added to a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, used in cottage gardens, or mass planted alongside a path or on a bank.
Viburnum Emerald Lustre (Viburnum odoratissimum Emerald Lustre)
Viburnum Emerald Lustre features pink flower buds that open to reveal clusters of mildly fragrant, white-light pink flowers during winter and early spring. The flowers are great for attracting bees and birds and are followed by glossy, black berries. The large glossy, dark green foliage is lush and emerges with bronze tones as it grows to 4 m tall and 2 m wide. Viburnum Emerald Lustre is commonly included in mixed plantings, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, grown as a dense screen, or trimmed into a hedge. It is well suited to planting around outdoor living areas such as pools and using in tropical gardens.
