Lavender Sensation Blue is a variety of English Lavender that grows as a compact shrub and carries masses of showy flower spikes that have a blue base and pink petals at the top. These are borne from spring through until autumn. The foliage is mid-green and complements the flowers nicely as it grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide. Lavender Sensation Blue is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or maintained in a container. A mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank will give a dramatic display.
