Elephant Heart Plum Tree For Sale

Plum Elephant Heart

The ‘Elephant Heart’ plum is a striking and flavourful variety known for its large, heart-shaped fruit with deep red skin and juicy, blood-red flesh. Rich, sweet, and slightly tangy, the fruit is ideal for fresh eating, preserving, or desserts. This deciduous tree grows 3–4 metres tall and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil. It’s a partially self-fertile variety, but it crops better with the assistance of a pollinator such as 'Black Doris' or 'Luisa'. This is a standout choice for home orchards across New Zealand.
