Ficus hillii, commonly known as the Evergreen Fig or Hill’s Fig, is a fast-growing, evergreen tree valued in New Zealand for hedging, screening, and formal topiary. It features glossy green leaves and a dense canopy that responds well to shaping. Reaching 10–15 m tall when unpruned, it can be kept smaller with regular pruning. Ficus hillii is ideal for creating privacy, structure, and year-round greenery in warm, sheltered gardens.
