Cytisus multiflorus is a deciduous shrub grown for its impressive flowering. Fragrant and pure white, pea-like flowers are produced in such abundance during spring and summer that they transform it into a visual splendour. These are held on the slender, green stems as it grows to about 3 m tall and the same wide. Cytisus multiflorus is commonly included in mixed plantings, grown as an informal hedge, planted on a bank, or used to brighten stark corners.
