Cupressus Ovensii, also known as the Ovensii Cypress, is a fast-growing conifer featuring feathery, dark green leaves which are held densely on rigid branches. It grows with a conical shape to about 25 m tall and 8 m wide but can be contained with trimming. Cupressus Ovensii is used extensively on farms and larger properties as a windbreak, large screen, shelter for livestock, or for forestry. In larger gardens it is often used for hedging and screening and makes an excellent backdrop for smaller shrubs.
