Cedrus atlantica, commonly known as the Atlantic Cedar, is a large and stately tree. It bears blue-green, needle-like foliage held on horizontal branches. It grows initially with a conical shape, but as it matures, the crown tends to broaden out, and it will eventually reach 35 m tall and 15 m wide. Cedrus atlantica is commonly grown as a specimen in a park or large garden.
