Corymbia ficifolia, commonly known as the Red Flowering Gum, this is one of the most commonly planted ornamental Eucalypts. It is an attractive, fast-growing tree that features bountiful clusters of red flowers sporadically throughout the year. The tidy growth habit of this tree requires little maintenance as it grows to 6 m tall and 2.5 m wide. Corymbia ficifolia is an ideal street tree, specimen tree, or can be used in mixed plantings in a large garden. It is also well suited for screening and shelter.
