Cornus alba Sibirica, commonly known as The Siberian Dogwood, is a deciduous shrub renowned for its red stems which are most prominent during winter. It forms a thicket of the slender, brightly coloured stems. The foliage emerges lime green in spring, ages to dark green, then develops red tones in autumn before falling and revealing the colourful stems. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 1 m wide and should be trimmed each year. Cornus Sibirica is a great plant for mixed plantings as well as cluster planting to provide a dramatic winter display.
