Coprosma propinqua – Mingimingi for Native and Wetland Gardens
Coprosma propinqua, commonly known as Mingimingi or Mikimiki, is a hardy New Zealand native shrub with interlaced branches and small green leaves. Growing up to 2.5 meters tall and 2 meters wide, it thrives in wetland areas, stream banks, and native gardens. Its dense growth provides excellent shelter for wildlife, and its berries attract birds, making it a valuable addition to ecological plantings.
Coprosma Cappuccino
Coprosma Cappuccino, commonly known as the Upright or Brown Coprosma, features fine, chocolate-brown foliage. This NZ native typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide with a tidy and compact habit. Coprosma Cappuccino is commonly included in mixed plantings, planted around the pool or barbecue area, maintained in a container, or planted in those more difficult to grow areas of the garden.
