Leptospermum Copper Sheen is an Australian native that bears both attractive foliage and flowers. The leaves are small, copper coloured, and produced on upright branches that have a gentle arch. Small and showy, white flowers are produced in abundance through summer. It grows broad and upright to about 3 m tall and 2 m wide. Leptospermum Copper Sheen is commonly used for screening, hedging, and shelter, but also makes for a spectacular show when used as a backdrop for smaller plants and when included in a mixed planting.

Metrosideros Kawa Copper is a variety of the commonly known, Northern Rata, and is a NZ native tree grown for its flowers and foliage. The lush foliage emerges copper-red and ages to become dark green. The foliage is adorned with masses of bright red flowers in summer as it grows to 15 m tall 6 m wide. Metrosideros Kawa Copper is commonly included in a mixed planting in a large garden, used in native revegetation programs, or grown as a lovely specimen.
