Carex Evergold is an ornamental grass native to Japan that features slender, arching leaves that are variegated dark green and yellow. Short, brown flower spikes are borne in summer above the foliage and add extra interest to this plant as it grows to about 30 cm tall and the same wide. Carex Evergold is a commonly mass planted as a groundcover, included in borders and mixed plantings, or grown in a container.
