The silver leaves are complemented with masses of tiny, white flowers in spring. It grows as a dense mat and will quickly reach 5 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site that does not dry out. Babys Tears is commonly planted alongside ferns and other moisture-loving plants. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for growing in a container where it will spill over the sides or for using as a groundcover. It is commonly grown as an indoor plant.
