Ceanothus Blue Sapphire (Ceanothus Sapphire)
Ceanothus Blue Sapphire is a popular variety that becomes smothered in pretty, blue flowers in spring which are held off arching stems. The stems host small and glossy, dark green leaves which are aesthetic in their own right as it grows to 1 m tall and 2 m wide. Ceanothus Blue Sapphire is commonly used in border plantings, added to mixed plantings, included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or used as a groundcover.
Lithodora Crystal Blue (Lithodora diffusa Crystal Blue)
Lithodora diffusa Crystal Blue, commonly known as Gromwell, grows as a mat of small, dark green leaves with a soft looking appearance. It bears masses of small, light blue flowers from spring through until autumn, and typically grows to 20 cm tall and 70 cm wide. Lithodora Crystal Blue makes an excellent groundcover and is commonly used to trail over walls, planted around large rocks, used in borders, planted around pool areas, or included in cottage gardens.
