Bergenia Silberlicht is an herbaceous perennial grown for its lush foliage and pretty flowers. The large and glossy, green leaves are wavy, arranged as a spiral rosette, and will often develop purple tones during the cooler months. The foliage is complemented with showy clusters of small, white flowers which take on pink tones as they age. It grows as a tidy clump to about 30-40 cm tall and 40-60 cm wide. Bergenia Silberlicht is a very fashionable and hardy plant that is ideal for border planting or mass planting as a groundcover. It is often used in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container.
