Banksia Occidentalis

Banksia integrifolia

Banksia integrifolia, commonly known as the Coastal Banksia or the Coast Banksia tree, is a small tree grown for its large and showy flower heads. The bottlebrush-like flowers are up to 12 cm long and adorn this tree from summer through until winter. The foliage is thick, leathery, and dark green on the upper surface and silver beneath. It grows with an upright, open habit to about 10 m tall and 5 m wide.
