Armeria maritima Rubra is an herbaceous perennial grown for its pretty flowers. Clusters of red flowers are borne on slender stems that rise above the foliage in spring. This compact, low-growing plant forms a dense mounded of grass-like, dark green leaves as it grows to 25 cm tall and 40 cm wide. Armeria Rubra is ideal for rock gardens, coastal and cottage gardens, border plantings, or maintaining in a container. Planting en masse will give the best displays.
