Agapanthus Black Pantha produces beautiful, dark-blue flowers from near black buds throughout summer. The petals have an interesting darker band that gives the flowers a two-toned appearance. The flowers are borne on slender stems that rise above the dark green foliage as it grows to about 50 cm tall and the same wide. Agapanthus Black Pantha is commonly used in borders and mixed plantings, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, used in cottage gardens, or simply maintained in a container.
