Euonymus fortunei Emerald and Gold is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its variegated foliage and flowers. It features glossy, green and yellow leaves held densely on short stems which often develop pink undertones during winter. The plant becomes adorned with small, cream-coloured flowers through summer. It typically grows to 75 cm tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Euonymus Emerald and Gold grows best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site, though it will tolerate dry periods, moderate frost, coastal conditions, and cool climates.
