Pseudopanax lessonii ‘Cyril Watson’ is grown for its vibrant and fresh foliage. This NZ native features broad and leathery leaves which are lush and bright green. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this shrub is achieved when it is grown on a well-drained site in full sun. In partial shade it tends to grow with a more open and spreading habit. It is tolerant of wind, coastal environments, dry periods, and frost once established.
