“Apricot Blush” is a variety of the commonly known, Corsican Hellebore, and is an herbaceous perennial valued for its attractive foliage and colourful, yet unusual flowers. The foliage is dark green and gives rise to the most interesting flowers from winter through spring. Showy, peach-apricot coloured flowers with rose colourings are produced through this period. It grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It has a root system that enables it to regrow again in spring if cold conditions or frost kills off the foliage. “Apricot Blush” is an ideal plant for cottage or tropical gardens, for mixed and border plantings, or planting to provide winter colour. A mass planting provides a truly impressive display.
