The Niagra Grape plant produces very tasty fruit that ripen in autumn. The seedless berries are large, green-gold when ripe, and are juicy with a great aroma. Birds love the fruit and will come from far and wide to feast if they are not protected. It grows as a deciduous vine, carrying lush, mid-green leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It is generally trained onto a support structure and pruned right back each year. Left untrimmed it will easily grow to 5 m in length. This variety grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site.
