“Banks Peninsula Blue” is a small, ornamental grass that features fine, blue-green foliage. The foliage is held densely as it grows to about 40 cm tall and the same wide. Short flower stems rise above the foliage in summer, adding extra interest to this plant. This grass prefers to grow in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It will generally survive in almost any garden situation, including frost, wind, and coastal environments, but conditions of continuous wet should be avoided. This grass is best showcased with a mass planting either in borders, rock gardens, or on a bank. This is colourful and forgiving plant is both versatile and very rewarding.
