Commonly known as Moonstones, this is a short-stemmed succulent with impressive foliage. It produces a rosette of thick, stone like, grey leaves as it eventually grows to 10 cm tall and 20 cm wide. A short flower stalk with cream flowers is often produced during winter or early spring. This succulent grows best in full sun on a well-drained site. It is usually grown indoors in a container but can be grown outdoors provided it is protected from frost.
