It grows with a solitary stem carrying decorative, blue-green leaves that have a pale red margin. Stems rise above the foliage in winter to bear large and showy clusters of red flowers as it grows to 4 m tall and 2.5 m wide. Aloe speciosa, commonly known at the Tilt-Head Aloe, is a handsome succulent grown for its lovely form and foliage. It grows with a solitary stem carrying decorative, blue-green leaves that have a pale red margin. Stems rise above the foliage in winter to bear large and showy clusters of red flowers.
