“Parnell” is a delightful and spectacular NZ native Lily that is low maintenance and easy to grow. Through spring and summer the lush and broad, arching leaves are accentuated with beautiful sprays of starry, white flowers. It grows as a tidy clump to about 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, frost free site, though will tolerate dry and exposed conditions. “Parnell” is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, used in cottage, coastal, or “white” gardens, included in borders, or planted around outdoor living areas. This is an excellent choice for brightening up a dull corner.
