Acer palmatum dissectum Seiryu is a Japanese Maple that features a rich display of colourful and delicate foliage. The finely cut leaves emerge lime green, remain this colour through summer, then develops orange and red tones as autumn progresses before falling. It grows with a broad and upright habit to about 5 m tall and the same wide. Acer Seiryu is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, planted against a bland wall, or used anywhere the spectacular colour can be enjoyed.
Acer platanoides Globosum is a deciduous tree grown for its lush foliage and stunning form. It produces a symmetrical and rounded head of mid-green foliage on a solitary trunk which is formed without trimming. As autumn progresses the leaves develop colourful yellow tones before falling. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide. Acer Globosum makes for a fantastic specimen and is well suited to growing around outdoor living areas, adding to a mixed planting, using in an avenue planting, or maintaining in a courtyard garden.
