“Globosum” is a deciduous tree grown for its lush foliage and stunning form. It produces a symmetrical and rounded head of mid-green foliage on a solitary trunk which is formed without trimming. As autumn progresses the leaves develop colourful yellow tones before falling. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide though can be contained with trimming as necessary. Best results with this tree are achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained site though it will tolerate dry periods, frost, cool climates, and urban pollution. “Globosum” makes for a fantastic specimen and is well suited to growing around outdoor living areas, adding to a mixed planting, using in an avenue planting, or maintaining in a courtyard garden.
