Commonly known as Good Morning Glory, this herbaceous perennial is grown for its ground covering properties and lovely flowers. It grows somewhat vigorously and produces single, blue flowers through summer and autumn. The flowers are produced en masse above the dense, dark green foliage. It typically grows to 20 cm tall and 2 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of frost, coastal conditions, and periods of dry. Good Morning Glory is commonly used as a tidy groundcover, grown in a hanging basket, allowed to trail over a wall or the like, or included in a cottage garden. Please note: It is not an invasive or noxious weed like other Convolvulus species.
